CELEBRATION OF CHINMAYA JAYANTI ON 8th May 2016

The year long Centenary Celebration of our beloved Pujya Gurudev Sw.Chinmayananda in Puducherry has culminated into a Grand celebration on His 100th Jayanti day on 8th May, 2016. Many events like - Homam, Japa, Puja, Dyanam, Blood Donation camp, Annadhanam, Vastra Dhanam, Film 'THEDAL' in Tamil on Pujya Gurudev's life and works, Paduka Puja, Satsang, Illanthorum Geethai Conclusion program and Maha Prasad were organized throughout the day.
The day started with Gayatri and Ayusya Homam and Paduka Puja. The birth of a Mahathma is the beginning of his divine work. So, it is appropriate that Gurudev’s Jayanti is celebrated as Seva Day. Blood Donation Camp co-ordinated by Shri Dhandapaniji, was organized at Chinmaya Surya from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and 100 units of Blood were donated to JIPMER Blood Bank. Also, annadhanam was arranged at various places viz. JIPMER and Udhavi Karangal Home for Boys and Girls. “On a Quest”, a wonderful tribute to the life and the vision of Pujya Gurudev was screened in tamil at Chinmaya Surya. This was followed by a Paduka Puja, satsang and honouring of Smt. Raji Narayanan who co-ordinated the Illamthorum Geethai project of taking Srimad Bhagavat Gita and Pujya Gurudev to 100 Houses. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Prasad was arranged for all the participants throughout the day. More than 1500 devotees participated during the day. Through our sincere efforts, Pujya Gurudev who is ever installed in our hearts will become more and more radiant within and all around. May His grace and blessings flow through us to the world around us.

Residential Children Camp for Sarvam Children from Poothurai Village on 23rd and 24th May 2016

My Transformation Transforms Nation - 2 days residential camp for Sarvam children - organized in Chinmaya Mission puducherry.

No. of children – 130 in age group 14 to 16 yrs
Venue - Chinmaya Mission Puducherry, Krishna nagar

The theme of the camp is "My Transformation Transforms Nation". The integrated personality development camp focussed on physical fitness, emotional stability, intellectual sharpness and patriotism.
The 2 days was filled with group discussions, games, activities, q & a sessions, short video clippings - all intended for bringing out dormant talents, erasing low tendencies, building confidence, instilling patriotism.
For physical Transformation, children were taught Surya namaskar, benefits of thoppu-karanam (super brain yoga), OM chanting, Vriksha-aasan, tips for healthy food habits and cleanliness.
For emotional Transformation, children had a group discussion on what emotions are hindering their progress; Solution to overcome them were provided through classroom session as well as activity. For instance, the trust fall activity to get rid of fear, Truth experiment to overcome telling lies, Tolerance game to know how to increase our patience etc.
For spiritual Transformation, significance of Gayathri mantra was taught, children participated in Gayathri havan, all were taken to Guru Siddhananda temple, etc.
For patriotic Transformation, children were enlightened on the glory of India.
Apart from the sessions, we were thrilled to see the adaptable nature of the children which was very evident in dormitory room sharing, readiness to serve - whether it be cleaning the classrooms or serving food, being punctual for the classes.
Thus the 2 days - was a very fulfilling experience and we believe that the seeds sown in the young minds will blossom at the right time and will result in a transformed Nation.

A Corporate Workshop @ Supreme Industries Ltd., Puducherry

Brni. Shruti Chaitanyaji and Acharya Arunachalam from Chennai with the assistance of Yuvaveer Kaushika conducted a one-day workshop titled "P-CUBE" for a team of employees in Supreme Industries Ltd. to

குருகுல வேதாந்த பயிற்சி (தமிழ்-ஆங்கிலம்)

வேதாந்த சத்தியங்களை தமிழில் நன்கு அறிந்து, புரிந்து, வாழ்வில் நடைமுறைபடுத்திக் கொள்ள சி்ன்மயா மிஷன் அரியதொரு வாய்ப்பினை ஏற்படுத்தித் தருகிறது. இதை நன்கு பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள சின்மயா மிஷன், புதுச்சேரி சாதகர்களை அன்புடன் அழைக்கிறது.

சின்மய சூர்யாவில் சின்மய ஜெயந்தி விழா (08.05.2012)

    அன்பின் வெளிப்பாடு சேவையாகும். இந்த வாக்கியத்திற்கு சிறந்த எடுத்துக்காட்டாய் விளங்கியவர் பூஜ்ய ஸ்வாமி சின்மயானந்தர். அன்பெனும் அழகான அஸ்திரமெடுத்து மனித இனம், நமது சமூகம் மற்றும்  கலாச்சாரம் ஆகியவைகள் அறவழியில் ஆன்மிகப்பாதையில் தழைத்து ஆரோக்கியமாய் வளர தனது வாழ்நாள் முழுவதையும் அர்ப்பணித்தவர். அப்பேற்பட்ட மகானின் ஜென்ம தினமான மே-8 தினத்தை, உலகமெங்கும் சின்மய பக்தர்கள் அந்நாளை ‘சேவை தினம்’ என கருதி விமரிசையாக கொண்டாடி வருகிறார்கள்.

      மேலும், 8.5.2012 (செவ்வாய் கிழமை) அன்று பகல் 1 மணியளவில் ப்ரஹ்மசாரிணி ஸ்ருதி சைதன்யா, ப்ரஹ்மசாரிணி சாந்தி, திரு. நடராஜன், திரு பாஸ்கரன், அவர்களது முன்னிலையில் ஜிப்மர் வளாகத்தில் சுமார் 500 பேருக்கு அன்னதானம் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

மேலும், மாலை 6.30 மணியளவில் சின்மய சூர்யாவில் பாதுகா பூஜை, மற்றும் சத்தங்கம் நடந்தது. இதில் பக்தர்கள் பலர் கலந்துகொண்டு குருதேவரின் ஆசி பெற்றனர்.
